Pre-Flight Steps

1. Online Check-In
Check in on your airline’s website or app. Select your seat and download your boarding pass to save time at the airport.

2. Fill Out e-Travel Form
Complete the e-travel form at etravel.gov.ph to ensure a smooth immigration process.

3. Pay Travel Tax
Travel tax is ₱1,620. Pay at Booth C1–15 at the airport or online when booking your ticket. Keep the receipt for check-in.

4. Check-In Baggage
Present your passport and luggage at the counter. You’ll receive your boarding pass with your gate number and seat. Make sure your baggage is within the airline’s weight limits.

5. Immigration
Have your passport and boarding pass ready. Answer any questions from the immigration officer politely.

6. Proceed to Your Gate
Check your gate number on the boarding pass and airport monitors. Gates can change last minute, so double-check before heading there.

7. If Traveling to Japan (Optional - puhon puhon 😀 )
Complete the required travel form at vjw.digital.go.jp for smooth entry into Japan.

Landing in Vietnam: First Things to Do

1. Clear Immigration & Pick Up Luggage

Go through passport control, then collect your bags at the baggage carousel. Double-check luggage tags before leaving the area.

2. Activate SIM / eSIM
Before leaving the terminal, buy and activate a SIM card from official airport counters (Viettel, Mobifone, or Vinaphone). This gives you data for messaging, translation, and contacting your driver if needed.

3. Withdraw Cash
Use an ATM inside the airport to withdraw Vietnamese Dong (VND).
💡 Tip: Around ₫3,000,000–₫4,000,000 is good for 4–5 budget days.

4. Meet Your Shuttle Driver
Head to the arrivals area and look for your driver holding a sign with your name or your tour agency’s name. Confirm your hotel details before boarding.

5. Load Your Bags and Depart
Once everyone is ready, board the shuttle and head to the hotel for check-in.
